Common questions about the Dreamland Dumbo (Variant) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific production runs for individual variants, so a definitive rarity ranking is not available. However, variant figures generally have lower print quantities than standard releases, making them less common in the secondary market. Collectors often consider them more desirable, but their specific scarcity can vary significantly based on regional availability and release timing.
The value of the Funko Pop! Disney Dreamland Dumbo (SKU 512) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over open ones. As a variant, it is generally more valuable than the standard edition, but specific market prices fluctuate with supply and demand. For an accurate current valuation, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or collectibles marketplaces, as static price guides often lag behind real-time market trends.
You can authenticate your Funko Pop! by checking the bottom of the box for a holographic sticker, which should display the SKU number 512 and a unique serial number. Verify that the product name, "Dreamland Dumbo (Variant)," matches the official Funko catalog listing for that specific SKU. Additionally, examine the figure itself for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or poor plastic quality.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a "Dreamland Dumbo (Variant)" Pop! with SKU 512. Funko SKU 512 is typically associated with the standard Dumbo figure from the 2013 movie, and "Dreamland" is not a recognized variant name in official Funko Disney catalogs.
Funko has discontinued the Dreamland Dumbo (Variant) Pop! Vinyl figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This item is now considered out of print, so availability is limited to the secondary market through resellers, where prices and condition can vary significantly.
To grade a Dreamland Dumbo Pop! Disney, you should first inspect the figure for common defects such as paint application errors, seam lines, or scratches, paying particular attention to the variant-specific colorways. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's condition and place it in a tamper-evident slab. If you are only checking condition for personal sale, compare the item against high-resolution photos of a known perfect example to identify any deviations in the variant details.
