Common questions about the Dug with Medal Pop! Disney from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Dug with Medal Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2021 Disney series, and because it was widely distributed through major retail channels, it is easily accessible to collectors.
The value of the Dug with Medal Pop! Disney (SKU 1093) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over open ones. As a standard 2021 release from the Disney franchise, it is a common item that generally sells for a modest price on the secondary market, often ranging from a few dollars to around $10-$15 for a sealed unit. Because it is not a rare or limited edition variant, its value is unlikely to increase substantially over time.
To authenticate your Dug with Medal Pop! (SKU 1093), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the window is intact. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor assembly. If the item is unboxed, you can cross-reference the SKU on the box with the official Funko catalog to confirm the 2021 release details, though definitive authentication of unboxed items is best done by a professional grading service.
The Dug with Medal Pop! Disney was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Dug with Medal Pop! Disney (SKU 1093), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through secondary markets, such as resale platforms or third-party collectors, where prices may vary based on condition and demand.
You can condition-check this figure by inspecting the vinyl surface for manufacturing defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or discoloration, and by verifying that the medal accessory is intact and securely attached. Since Funko Pop! figures are not typically graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or CGC, their value is generally determined by their retail condition, original packaging, and rarity rather than a professional numerical grade.
