Common questions about the Dumbo (Anniversary) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dumbo (Anniversary) Pop! Disney is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-produced figure from Funko's regular Disney lineup. It was released as part of the broader anniversary collection and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The value of a Funko Pop! Dumbo (Anniversary) #985 varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard mass-produced vinyl figure, its retail price typically hovers around $12 to $15, meaning the secondary market value for a loose figure is often below that amount. A sealed, unopened copy may command a slight premium, but it generally does not appreciate in value like limited-edition or exclusive items.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Dumbo (Anniversary) with SKU 985, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the Disney licensing mark, and the specific SKU number on the back. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the correct "Funko" branding on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or off-color vinyl. You can also cross-reference the product against official Funko listings or reputable collector databases to ensure the packaging design and figure details match the genuine release.
Funko does not publicly list a specific release date for the Dumbo (Anniversary) Pop! Disney (SKU 985) in their official product records. While this item is part of the Disney anniversary series, the exact month and year of its initial release are not reliably documented in standard Funko catalogs or press releases.
Funko does not publicly disclose real-time production schedules or definitive end-of-print dates for specific items. Consequently, there is no reliable official confirmation that the Dumbo (Anniversary) Pop! is currently in print. Availability of new stock is highly variable and depends entirely on current retailer inventory, so checking major online retailers is the only way to confirm immediate purchase options.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and verifying that the head fits securely on the body. For the Dumbo (Anniversary) variant, you should specifically look for any fading or discoloration on the anniversary-specific colorways or accessories. If you are seeking a professional grade for resale value, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will encapsulate it and assign a numerical score based on its overall condition.
