Common questions about the Dumbo Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dumbo Pop! (SKU 729) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production figure from Funko's widely available Disney collection. It was released as part of a large batch and is commonly found in retail stores and online marketplaces. While specific color variants may be harder to find, the standard version remains an accessible item for most collectors.
The value of a Dumbo Pop! Disney (SKU 729) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it remains in the original sealed box. Generally, an unopened, sealed figure in good condition typically sells for between $10 and $20, while a loose figure usually commands a lower price, often under $10. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
To authenticate your Dumbo Pop! (SKU 729), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl and that the paint application is clean, with no significant bleeding or excess glue on the seams. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number, and ensure the packaging box features the official Funko branding and a matching product number. If the figure feels lightweight, has a rough texture, or the eyes are misaligned, it is likely a counterfeit, and you should compare it directly against high-resolution images of the authentic product from Funko's official website.
The Dumbo Pop! Disney (SKU 729) was released in 2019. This figure was part of the wave of Funko Pop! Disney releases coinciding with the theatrical release of the live-action Dumbo film.
Funko has discontinued the Dumbo Pop! (SKU 729), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or private collectors, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Dumbo Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the ears and trunk where defects are common. Verify that the figure is fully seated in the base without gaps and that the eyes are properly aligned. If you intend to have it professionally graded, ensure the item is in its original sealed box with the window intact, as most grading services will not accept opened figures for standard grading.
