Common questions about the Dunharrow King Pop! Movies from Funko (2025).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Dunharrow King Pop! Movies is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2025 catalog. With a SKU of 1770, it is part of the regular movie series and is widely available through major retailers. Its common status means it is not a limited edition or exclusive variant, making it an accessible entry point for collectors.
The Dunharrow King Pop! Movies (SKU 1770) is a 2025 release, meaning it is a very recent item with a limited market history. Because the figure is new, its value is primarily driven by current retail and secondary market pricing rather than long-term appreciation. Without a large sample of completed transactions, it is difficult to assign a precise "worth" beyond its original retail price, so collectors should monitor recent sales data on platforms like eBay or StockX to track its emerging market value.
It is difficult to definitively authenticate a 2025 release without physical inspection, but you can verify authenticity by checking the box for the official Funko logo, a clear product number (1770), and a batch code on the bottom. Examine the vinyl for sharp edges, consistent paint application, and the correct "Pop! Movies" branding on the base. If the box feels flimsy, the vinyl is soft, or the paint is smeared, it is likely a counterfeit.

To grade or condition-check a Dunharrow King Pop! Movies figure, first inspect the vinyl for surface defects such as scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the crown and facial features where wear is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box with the window intact and the seal unbroken, as the packaging condition significantly impacts resale value. If you require a formal grade for insurance or high-value transactions, send the item to a third-party grading service like PSA or CGC, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized condition scale.
