To authenticate your Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo, a barcode, and the specific SKU number 1161 printed on the box. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper alignment of the D.I.Y. elf hat and accessories, and the absence of mold lines or rough seams that indicate a counterfeit. Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for paint flaws, scratches, or mold lines and verifying that the box is free of significant damage, as the packaging is a major component of the item's value. For a definitive grade, you should submit the item to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on specific criteria for the figure and its box. Be aware that the "D.I.Y." designation indicates this is a custom creation, so it will not have a standard factory grade and may be evaluated differently by grading companies.
