Common questions about the DX37 Jack Sparrow from Hot Toys.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The DX37 Jack Sparrow is a 1/6 scale collectible figure from Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece Series, which is a standard production line rather than a limited edition. While specific production run sizes for this SKU are not publicly disclosed by the manufacturer, it is generally considered a common item available through major retailers. Its rarity is therefore low compared to limited-edition or out-of-print variants.
The DX37 Jack Sparrow originally retailed for $290.00. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
To authenticate your Hot Toys DX37 Jack Sparrow, first verify that the SKU 9132383 and MPN DX39AE match the markings on the box and the product itself. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, crisp sculpting, and the correct articulation points, as these are common indicators of authenticity for 1/6 scale collectibles. Since the provided UPC (4900000000000) appears to be a placeholder or generic code rather than a unique manufacturer barcode, you should cross-reference the SKU and MPN against Hot Toys' official product listings or authorized retailer inventories to confirm the item's origin.
Hot Toys released the DX37 Jack Sparrow figure in 2023. This 1/6th scale collectible was part of the company's ongoing collaboration with Disney for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Based on the provided SKU and MPN, there is a discrepancy in the item identification (DX37 vs. DX39AE), which makes it difficult to confirm the exact production status without additional context. Generally, Hot Toys DX series figures are produced in limited runs and are often out of print once the initial inventory is sold out. Therefore, unless a specific restock has been announced, the figure is likely no longer available new from the manufacturer and is typically found through the secondary market.
To grade or condition-check a Hot Toys DX37 Jack Sparrow, first inspect the paint application for any chipping, smudging, or uneven coverage on the figure's face and costume details. Next, examine the articulation points for looseness or play, and check the included accessories and display stand for cracks, scratches, or missing parts. If the figure is in its original packaging, verify that the box is free of dents, tears, or faded printing, as box condition significantly impacts collectible value.
