To authenticate your Hot Toys DX6 Jack Sparrow, first verify the SKU 9132383 and MPN DX39AE against the product packaging and the small label on the base or box. Inspect the paint quality, joint tightness, and sculpt details for consistency with the official Hot Toys MMS 1/6 scale standard. Since the UPC 4900000000000 is a placeholder, you should cross-reference the physical item with Hot Toys' official product database or authorized retailer listings to confirm the specific release details.
The Hot Toys 1/6 scale Jack Sparrow (DX6) was released in 2017. It is part of the Pirates of the Caribbean series and features the character from the film franchise.
The Hot Toys DX6 Jack Sparrow (SKU 9132383) is generally considered out of print, as the DX6 line was a limited production run. While it is no longer sold new directly from Hot Toys, it remains available through third-party retailers and secondary markets, though prices may be higher than the original retail price.
The DX6 Jack Sparrow is a 1/6 scale collectible figure, and grading typically involves assessing paint condition, articulation, and accessory completeness. For a formal grade, you would submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will inspect for defects such as paint chips, scratches, or loose joints. If you are checking condition yourself, examine the figure under bright light to spot surface imperfections and verify that all included accessories, such as the sword and hat, are present and undamaged.
