Common questions about the El Diablo Pop! Fantastik Plastik from Funko (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The El Diablo Pop! Fantastik Plastik is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release by Funko in 2017. Like most standard-issue vinyl figures from that era, it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
There is no reliable market data available to establish a specific value for a Funko "El Diablo" Pop! figure, as this character is not a standard release in the Funko Pop! line and the specific "Fantastik Plastik" branding with SKU 03 does not correspond to a widely recognized, verifiable product. Without confirmed production records or auction history for this exact item, it is not possible to provide an accurate valuation.
It is important to clarify that Funko does not manufacture a product line called "Fantastik Plastik," which is a term associated with the German toy company Schleich. Therefore, an item described as a "Funko El Diablo Pop! Fantastik Plastik" is likely a misidentified listing, a counterfeit, or a confusion between two different manufacturers. To authenticate a genuine Funko Pop! figure, you should verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko logo, the figure has a smooth, uniform plastic finish without visible mold lines, and the eyes are properly aligned and painted. If the item claims to be a Schleich product, it would be made of high-quality resin rather than the vinyl typical of Funko Pops, and you should look for the Schleich logo and specific catalog numbers on the packaging.
The El Diablo Pop! Fantastik Plastik was released in 2017 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the El Diablo Pop! Fantastik Plastik, so it is no longer in print. You will not be able to purchase this specific item new directly from Funko or major retail partners. The only way to acquire it now is through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices may fluctuate based on condition and demand.
Funko Pop! figures are generally not graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or CGC, so there is no standardized numerical grading scale for this item. To condition-check the figure, you should inspect it for common defects such as paint overspray, missing eyes, head misalignment, or cracks in the plastic, particularly on the horns and tail. Since this is a 2017 release, you should also verify that the box is intact and free of significant wear if you are evaluating the item as a sealed collectible.
