Common questions about the Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard production run released in 2019. These figures were widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning they are generally easy to find in both new and used condition.
The value of the 2019 Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey figure (SKU 52) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 when new in box. As a standard production item from a popular player's rookie season, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces is recommended.
To authenticate your 2019 Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey figure, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number 52. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper sculpting details, and the standard Funko Pop! head shape, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor plastic quality. If the packaging includes a holographic sticker, you can scan the unique code on it using the Funko app to confirm its authenticity.
The Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Elias Pettersson Pop! Hockey figure (SKU 52), so it is no longer in print. New stock is no longer available directly from Funko, meaning collectors must seek out remaining inventory from third-party retailers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface imperfections such as paint chips, scratches, or mold lines, as well as verifying that the head articulates smoothly without excessive wobble. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service, such as PSA, which will evaluate the item's condition and assign a numerical score. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times can vary, and the process requires shipping the item to the grading facility.
