Common questions about the Elite Praetorian Guard from Lego (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Elite Praetorian Guard (75529) is not considered rare, as it was a standard retail set released in 2017 and remains widely available in new and used condition. Its value is generally stable and accessible, lacking the scarcity factors associated with limited-edition or discontinued collector items.
The Elite Praetorian Guard originally retailed for $24.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
Lego does not produce an official set called "Elite Praetorian Guard" with SKU 75529; that specific part number corresponds to the Star Wars set "First Order Star Destroyer." Because the item name and SKU do not match any known Lego product, the item is likely a mislabeled listing, a custom fan-made creation, or a counterfeit. To authenticate it, verify that the set number printed on the box matches the official Lego catalog for that year and inspect the pieces for the standard Lego logo and high-quality molding typical of genuine products.
The Elite Praetorian Guard was released in 2017 by Lego.
The LEGO Elite Praetorian Guard (set 75529) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to purchase new directly from LEGO, so collectors must seek out remaining stock from third-party retailers or the secondary market.
To grade a LEGO Elite Praetorian Guard (set 75529), you should inspect the minifigure for any signs of wear, such as fading, scratches, or missing parts, and verify that the included accessories are intact. Since LEGO minifigures are generally not graded by major third-party services like PSA or CGC in the same way as trading cards, condition is typically assessed by collectors based on the presence of original packaging, the absence of yellowing, and the overall cleanliness of the figure. If the item is in its original sealed box, check for box condition, including any dents, tears, or shelf wear, as this significantly impacts its value.
