Common questions about the Elphaba (Valentines) Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Elphaba (Valentines) Pop! Movies is not considered rare, as it is a standard seasonal release produced in large quantities for Valentine's Day 2024. While holiday-themed variants can sometimes command a premium if kept in sealed condition, this figure is widely available on the secondary market and does not possess the limited production numbers associated with true collector's rarities.
As a 2024 release, the Elphaba (Valentines) Pop! Movies figure is currently a new item that has not yet established a stable secondary market value. Its worth is generally determined by its original retail price, which is typically around $12.99, and it is unlikely to command a premium over that amount while it remains in active production.
To authenticate your 2024 Elphaba (Valentines) Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box is sealed with a tamper-evident sticker and that the figure itself features the correct sculpt details, paint application, and the standard Funko logo on the base. You can cross-reference the SKU 1711 against Funko’s official product listings to ensure the packaging matches the released version, and check for consistent font quality and color accuracy on the box art. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or lacks the proper branding, it may be a counterfeit, in which case you should consider contacting Funko directly for verification.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Elphaba (Valentines) Pop! Movies (SKU 1711) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. As a limited edition Valentine's Day release from 2024, it is likely no longer produced by Funko, and availability is typically restricted to the secondary market.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint defects, seam lines, and plastic stress marks. For this specific Valentine's Day variant, pay close attention to the color accuracy of the pink and white elements, as these are often the first signs of fading or manufacturing inconsistencies. Check that the figure stands upright without wobbling and that the head articulation is secure, as loose heads are a common defect in this line.
