Common questions about the Elphaba With Emerald City Pop! Town from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Elphaba With Emerald City Pop! Town is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production release for the 2024 Wicked movie tie-in. While specific variants like Chase figures are rare, the standard edition was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels.
The Elphaba With Emerald City Pop! Town is a standard retail Funko Pop! figure that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.99 to $14.99 in new condition. As a 2024 release, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and its value generally remains at or slightly below retail depending on current local stock availability.
Funko Pop! Town figures are mass-produced licensed collectibles, so authenticity is determined by checking for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the presence of the official Funko logo on the base. You should verify that the packaging includes a scannable QR code that links to Funko's official verification page, as this is the primary method for confirming a genuine 2024 release. If the figure lacks these specific manufacturing details or the QR code fails to verify, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Elphaba With Emerald City Pop! Town was released in 2024 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Elphaba With Emerald City Pop! Town is currently in print or available for purchase new. As a 2024 release, it may have been a limited production run or a specific retailer exclusive that has since sold out, making it primarily available through the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Town set involves inspecting the individual figures for paint defects, chipped bases, or loose joints, as well as verifying that the included building pieces are intact and free from cracks. You should also examine the packaging for any crushing, tears, or seal damage, since the box condition significantly impacts the item's value. Unlike traditional collectibles, these sets are generally not graded by third-party services like PSA, so grading is done informally by comparing the item against high-resolution photos of a known good example.
