The Elvira and Gonk Blacklight Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced item released in 2024 as part of Funko's regular Blacklight series, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific color variants or limited production runs can sometimes increase value, this SKU represents a common collectible rather than a scarce item.

To authenticate your 2024 Elvira and Gonk Blacklight Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU 1649, and a valid UPC barcode. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko "Pop!" branding on the base. You can further confirm authenticity by scanning the QR code on the box, if present, or by comparing the figure’s proportions and color accuracy against official Funko product images.

Funko has not publicly announced a discontinuation for the Elvira and Gonk Blacklight Pop! Movies, so it is likely still in print. However, availability can fluctuate significantly, and specific retailers may be out of stock. You should check current inventory on major Funko retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website to confirm immediate availability.
Condition-checking a blacklight Pop! vinyl figure involves inspecting the paint under UV light to ensure the glow-in-the-dark elements are intact and not faded, while also checking for standard defects like seam lines, paint chips, or scratches on the non-glowing areas. Since these figures are typically sold in sealed boxes, the primary grading consideration for collectors is the box condition, looking for dented corners, shelf wear, or damage to the window. There is no official third-party grading service specifically for blacklight Funko Pops, so value is generally determined by the item's mint-in-box status and the quality of the glow effect.
