The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Elwood Pop! Fantastik Plastik is not considered rare because it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2019. As a common variant of a popular character, it is widely available in the secondary market and does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive Funko releases.
The Elwood Pop! Fantastik Plastik (SKU 56) is a standard retail release from 2019 and does not command a premium price in the secondary market. New copies typically sell for between $5 and $10, while used copies often trade for less than $5. Because this is a common, non-exclusive variant, its value is generally lower than its original retail price.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! requires checking for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and a properly aligned base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy paint jobs, misaligned eyes, or poor plastic quality. For the Elwood Fantastik Plastik variant, verify that the specific color scheme and character details match official Funko product images, noting that the "Fantastik Plastik" line typically features a distinct metallic or iridescent finish. If the item lacks a proper Funko logo on the base or the packaging appears unbranded or low-quality, it is likely a replica, and you should compare it directly against verified examples from reputable sellers.

The Elwood Pop! Fantastik Plastik (SKU 56) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2019 release from the Fantastik Plastik line, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new purchases would need to be sourced from the secondary market.
To condition-check this item, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, chips, or discoloration, paying close attention to the seams and the base where the figure stands. Verify that the packaging is intact with no tears, dents, or signs of opening, as sealed boxes command higher value. Since this is a standard 2019 release, look for common defects like paint overspray or misaligned parts, which can significantly impact its collectible grade.
