No, the Emperor Claptrap Pop! Games is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2017 release of the Borderlands series, and it was widely available in retail stores and online at the time.
The standard retail price for the Emperor Claptrap Pop! Games figure (SKU 208) was typically between $10 and $15 when released in 2017. As a common mass-produced item from a popular franchise, its value in the secondary market generally remains near or slightly below that original retail price, with specific worth depending heavily on the condition of the figure and whether it is still in its original packaging.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Emperor Claptrap (SKU 208), verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic sticker, and ensure the figure itself has the correct paint application and sculpt details consistent with the 2017 release. Check the base for the standard Funko branding and confirm the window is intact with no signs of tampering. If the item lacks these standard manufacturing markers or the paint quality appears poor, it may be a counterfeit, and you should compare it against verified images from reputable retailers or seek a professional appraisal.
