No, the Evil Groundskeeper Willie Pop! Television (SKU 824) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2019 that is widely available in retail stores and through online marketplaces.
The value of a Funko Pop! Evil Groundskeeper Willie (SKU 824) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard 2019 release, it is generally not a high-value collectible, typically selling for between $10 and $20 in the secondary market. Prices may be slightly higher if the figure is unopened, but it does not command a premium compared to rarer or limited-edition variants.
To authenticate your 2019 Evil Groundskeeper Willie Pop! Television (SKU 824), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and that the figure itself displays the standard "POP!" branding on the base. Check for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct copyright year (©2019) on the packaging, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or poor plastic quality. If you purchased the item from a reputable retailer like Target, Walmart, or the Funko Shop, it is highly likely to be genuine, but you can confirm authenticity by comparing the box art and figure details against official Funko product listings.
The Evil Groundskeeper Willie Pop! Television was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Evil Groundskeeper Willie Pop! Television figure (SKU 824), so it is no longer in print. You will not be able to purchase a new, factory-sealed copy from official retail channels. The only way to acquire this specific item now is through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check this Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the character's face and the groundkeeper's shovel. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of cloudiness, and ensure the head rotates smoothly on the neck without excessive play. Since this is a standard 2019 release, significant value is generally only added if the figure is graded by a third-party service like PSA, which requires the item to be in near-mint or better condition with original packaging.
