Common questions about the Evil Queen & Maleficent Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Evil Queen & Maleficent Pop! Disney is not considered a rare item, as it is a standard mass-produced release from Funko's Disney line. It is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own store, making it an accessible collectible rather than a limited-edition or chase variant.
The value of the Evil Queen & Maleficent Pop! Disney figures depends heavily on whether they are sold as a set or individually, and their current market condition. As a limited-edition set, the pair typically trades in the secondary market for approximately $40 to $60, though prices fluctuate based on demand and availability. Individual figures generally sell for less than the set price, often ranging from $15 to $25 each. Exact worth can vary significantly depending on whether the items are new in box or loose, and the specific release year or variant.
To authenticate your Evil Queen & Maleficent Pop!, first inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, a scannable barcode, and the "Licensed Product" seal. Check the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the embossed "Funko" logo on the base. Compare the figure's proportions and color accuracy against official product images, as counterfeiters often use lighter or duller paint. If the box is damaged or missing, verify the figure's weight and base stamping, as genuine Pops have a specific heft and molded base details that fakes often miss.
The Evil Queen & Maleficent Pop! Disney figures were released in 2017 as part of Funko's Disney Princess collection. This specific release features the two characters together in a single box, marking a notable addition to the line.
The Evil Queen & Maleficent 2-pack was part of Funko's Disney Villains collection and is currently out of print. While it is no longer sold new from the manufacturer, it remains available through third-party retailers and the secondary market, often at a premium price.
To condition-check this Funko Pop!, first inspect the vinyl figure for cracks, chips, or paint wear, paying close attention to the crown, staff, and facial features. Examine the acrylic display base for scratches or cloudiness, as this is a common point of failure. For formal grading, you would typically submit the item to a third-party grading service like Beckett or PSA, which will assign a numerical grade based on the figure's overall condition, though many collectors simply assess it visually for resale value.
