The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Eye Matie Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release from Funko’s 2015 catalog. Because it was widely available in retail stores and online during its production run, it remains a common item in the secondary market.
The Eye Matie Pop! Movies figure (SKU 170) is a common 2015 release that typically sells for between $5 and $15 in mint, sealed condition. Because it is a mass-produced item with high production numbers, it does not command a premium price on the secondary market. Values can fluctuate slightly based on the condition of the packaging and the specific retailer, but it generally remains an affordable collectible.
It is not possible to definitively authenticate a specific Funko Pop! figure as "real" without a physical inspection, as high-quality counterfeits exist. To verify your Eye Matie Pop! (SKU 170), check that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding, the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth finish, and the paint application is clean without bleeding. You can also compare the weight and articulation of the head against a known genuine example, as fakes often feel lighter or have loose joints.
The Eye Matie Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Eye Matie Pop! Movies figure (SKU 170) is considered out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. While it is not available to buy new from the manufacturer, copies can occasionally be found on the secondary market through resellers or online marketplaces.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl head for scratches, paint transfer, or cracks, as well as verifying that the eyes are properly seated and the body is free of stress marks. For the Eye Matie variant specifically, you should ensure the unique eye design is intact and that the figure is in its original sealed box with the correct 2015 printing and SKU 170 to verify authenticity. While third-party grading services exist for collectibles, most casual collectors rely on visual inspection and box condition rather than professional grading for standard vinyl figures.
