Common questions about the Faith Pop! Valiant from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Faith Pop! Valiant is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released by Funko in 2016 as part of the Valiant Comics line, and it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive release, copies remain relatively common in the secondary market.
The value of the 2016 Faith Pop! Valiant (SKU 01) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but unopened figures typically trade in the range of $15 to $30. Opened figures in good condition generally sell for less, often between $5 and $15. For the most accurate current pricing, checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2016 Faith Pop! Valiant, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the Valiant Comics logo, along with the specific SKU number 01 on the side or bottom. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, proper joint articulation, and the correct sculpt details that match official product photography. Be aware that while Funko has issued recalls for certain 2016 Valiant figures due to paint defects, a recall does not automatically indicate a counterfeit, so checking the manufacturing date and box condition against known authentic examples is essential. If the figure exhibits significant paint errors, misaligned eyes, or poor molding that deviates from standard production quality, it may be a reproduction, and consulting a specialized authentication service is recommended for definitive verification.

The Faith Pop! Valiant from 2016 is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a discontinued item, it can only be found on the secondary market through resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a 2016 Faith Pop! Valiant involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and seam lines, which are common manufacturing defects. You should also verify that the figure is securely attached to its base and that the original packaging, including the window and box corners, remains intact, as these factors significantly impact value. While third-party grading services exist for Funko Pops, most collectors rely on visual inspection and high-resolution photographs to assess condition, as professional grading is rarely cost-effective for standard production items.
