Common questions about the Fireman Dumbo Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Fireman Dumbo Pop! (SKU 511) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Dumbo line that was widely distributed through major retail channels. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusivity status typically associated with rare Funko items.
The retail price for the Fireman Dumbo Pop! (SKU 511) was typically around $12.99 when it was in production. As a standard, non-limited edition figure that is no longer in production, its current market value for a new, sealed figure generally ranges from $10 to $20, depending on condition and seller. Prices for open figures are usually lower, often below the original retail price.
To authenticate your Fireman Dumbo Pop! Disney (SKU 511), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and that the vinyl figure has the standard "Funko" branding on the base. Check for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct aspect ratio, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry lines, off-color finishes, or a lighter weight compared to the original. While there is no single definitive test for every vintage item, comparing the figure directly against high-resolution images of the authentic SKU 511 release is the most reliable method for identifying discrepancies.
The Fireman Dumbo Pop! Disney (SKU 511) was released in 2022. This figure was part of the Disney Fireman Sam crossover collection, which featured characters from various Disney franchises dressed as the character Fireman Sam.
The Fireman Dumbo Pop! (SKU 511) is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. This figure is part of the discontinued Disney Fireman series, meaning it is now only obtainable through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collector-to-collector sales.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by checking for common defects such as paint chips, seam lines, or hairline cracks. Inspect the figure under bright, direct light to identify any imperfections in the vinyl or paint application, particularly on the fireman's helmet and Dumbo's ears. If the item is still in its original box, verify that the window is free of scratches and the box itself is not dinged, as this significantly impacts its value.
