The Frankenstein (Blacklight) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2022 and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While blacklight variants can sometimes command a slight premium over standard figures due to their unique aesthetic, this specific SKU is a common collectible rather than a limited edition.
The Frankenstein (Blacklight) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1227) is a standard retail release from 2022, and its value is typically determined by current market demand rather than a fixed price. In mint condition with its original box, it generally trades for around its original retail price of $12.99 to $15.00, while unboxed figures usually sell for less. Prices can fluctuate based on the specific marketplace and the condition of the item, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable way to determine its current worth.
To authenticate your 2022 Frankenstein (Blacklight) Pop! Movies figure, verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the SKU number 1227, and the correct year of manufacture. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the presence of the blacklight-reactive elements, as counterfeits often exhibit blurry printing or poor plastic quality. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and production code that aligns with Funko's standard formatting for that release year.

The Frankenstein (Blacklight) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1227) is currently out of print and is no longer available to purchase new from Funko. As a 2022 release, it is generally only available through the secondary market, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a blacklight Pop! vinyl involves inspecting the figure under normal light for standard defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or missing parts, while also verifying that the blacklight-reactive paint is intact and not chipped. You should examine the figure under a UV light to ensure the glow effect is consistent across the intended areas, as fading or uneven application can indicate age or exposure to sunlight. Since Funko does not offer an official grading service for Pop! figures, value is typically determined by the item's condition relative to its original packaging, with sealed boxes commanding the highest prices.
