Common questions about the Freddy Funko as Darth Maul (GITD) Star Wars Pop! from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Freddy Funko as Darth Maul (GITD) Star Wars Pop! is not considered rare because it was a standard mass-production release by Funko in 2022. While the "SE" SKU indicates it is a special edition variant, it was widely available through retail channels and does not carry the limited production numbers associated with exclusive or chase figures.
The Freddy Funko as Darth Maul (GITD) is a limited edition variant that typically commands a premium over standard Star Wars figures, with recent market sales generally ranging between $50 and $100 for sealed units. Because this is a specific "Freddy" variant, its value is highly dependent on condition and the presence of the original box, with unboxed figures selling for significantly less. Prices can fluctuate based on current collector demand, so checking recent sold listings on major resale platforms is recommended for the most accurate valuation.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! requires inspecting the physical details, as there is no unique serial number on the figure itself. Check the box for the official Funko logo, the correct UPC, and a holographic security sticker, which are standard indicators of genuine merchandise. Examine the figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding, and the correct "Funko" branding on the base, noting that the "SE" SKU typically denotes a special edition release that may have specific packaging variations. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be authentic, but you can verify the SKU against Funko's official product listings to confirm the specific edition details.

The Freddy Funko as Darth Maul (GITD) Star Wars Pop! is no longer in print. As a limited edition release from 2022, it is generally unavailable to purchase new from Funko or major retailers. To condition-check this specific Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and any signs of stress cracking, paying close attention to the intricate details of the lightsaber and costume. Verify that the figure is securely seated in the base without wobble and that the eyes are properly aligned and free of clouding. Since this is a 2022 release, also check for any fading or discoloration that may have occurred due to light exposure over time.
