No, this figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production release from the original Star Wars Pop! line launched in 2014, and it was widely available through major retailers at the time. While older vintage figures can sometimes command higher prices due to age, this specific SKU is a common item in the collectible market.
I cannot find reliable information to determine the current market value of a "Freddy Funko" Boba Fett with green hair, as this specific variant does not appear to be a standard production release for the 2014 Star Wars line. If this refers to a custom, third-party, or mislabeled item, its value would depend entirely on its provenance and condition, which I cannot verify without further details.
It is not possible to authenticate this specific item because the description contains contradictory details that do not match any known official Funko release. There is no official Star Wars Pop! figure that combines the character Freddy with Boba Fett's costume and green hair, and SKU 28 corresponds to a completely different product in the Funko catalog. You should verify the exact product name and SKU on the packaging against Funko's official records, as the item you are holding is likely a mislabeled third-party creation, a custom paint job, or a counterfeit.
The Freddy Funko (Boba Fett) (Green Hair) Star Wars Pop! was released in 2014 by Funko.
The Freddy Funko (Boba Fett) (Green Hair) Star Wars Pop! is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko or major retail partners. As a 2014 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is no longer produced. Collectors seeking this specific figure must look to the secondary market for used or previously opened units.
Condition-checking a 2014 Freddy Funko Boba Fett Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for stress cracks, particularly around the helmet and limbs, and verifying that the green hair accessory is intact and not faded. You should also examine the box for shelf wear, yellowing, or damage to the window, as the packaging is a significant factor in the figure's value. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the vinyl, accessories, and box to assign a numerical score from 1 to 10.
