Common questions about the Freddy Funko (Boba Fett) (Green Hair) Star Wars Pop! from Funko (2014).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, this figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the original 2014 Star Wars wave, making it widely available on the secondary market. While the green hair variant is a specific colorway, it was not a limited edition release, so its value remains modest compared to exclusive or discontinued variants.
I cannot find reliable information to determine the specific value of a "Freddy Funko" variant of Boba Fett, as this does not appear to be a standard or widely recognized official release from Funko in 2014. The standard Star Wars Boba Fett Pop! (SKU 28) from that era typically sells for between $10 and $25 in new condition, but I cannot speculate on the value of a non-standard variant without verified market data.
It is not possible to authenticate a specific item without physically inspecting it, as I cannot verify the provenance of your individual piece. To check for authenticity, examine the packaging for a holographic Funko seal, ensure the vinyl has the correct weight and smooth finish, and verify that the SKU 28 on the box matches the official 2014 Star Wars release. If the figure lacks these standard manufacturing markers, it may be a counterfeit.
The Freddy Funko (Boba Fett) (Green Hair) Star Wars Pop! was released in 2014 by Funko.
The 2014 Star Wars Boba Fett Pop! Vinyl figure (SKU 28) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item is considered out of production, meaning it can only be purchased as a used collectible from secondary markets.
Condition-checking a 2014 Star Wars Pop! Vinyl figure involves inspecting the paint for scratches, scuffs, or fading, particularly on the green hair and armor details, and verifying that the figure is securely seated in its original window box. You should also check for any "pop" marks, hairline cracks in the vinyl, or missing accessories that may have been included in the original packaging. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition grade, most collectors simply assess the item's value based on the presence of the original box and the absence of visible cosmetic defects.
