Common questions about the Freddy Krueger Pop! Movies from Funko (2011).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Freddy Krueger Pop! Movies figure (SKU 02) is not considered rare. It was part of the standard 2011 release wave and was widely available through major retail channels. Because it was produced in large quantities and remains commonly found in the secondary market, it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of a 2011 Freddy Krueger Pop! Movies figure (SKU 02) typically ranges from $10 to $25 for a sealed box in good condition, depending on current market demand. As an early release from the 2011 wave, it is no longer considered rare, so prices generally reflect standard retail value for common vintage Funko Pops. Actual selling prices can fluctuate based on the specific condition of the figure and box, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended for the most accurate current valuation.
The Freddy Krueger Pop! Movies figure with SKU 02 is a legitimate release from Funko's 2011 catalog, making it a standard production item rather than a limited edition. To authenticate your copy, verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a matte finish and that the box displays the correct SKU, copyright dates, and the "Funko" logo. Check the base of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and year, which should align with the 2011 release window, and ensure the paint application is consistent without significant bleeding or gaps. If the figure feels lightweight, has a glossy finish, or lacks proper branding on the packaging, it is likely a counterfeit.

The Freddy Krueger Pop! Movies figure (SKU 02) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from Funko or authorized retailers, so collectors must seek out used copies on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Freddy Krueger Pop! primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, hairline cracks, and paint imperfections, particularly on the glove and facial features. You should also verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure is securely attached to the base without any gaps or loose joints. While third-party grading services like PSA can assign a numerical score, most collectors rely on visual inspection under good lighting to assess the figure's overall mintness.
