Common questions about the French Bulldog Pop! Pets from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The French Bulldog Pop! Pets is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from Funko’s widely distributed Pets line, and its 2016 release date means it has been available for many years. While specific variants like Chased or Glow-in-the-Dark editions may be scarcer, the standard SKU 04 figure is common and frequently found in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The French Bulldog Pop! Pets figure (SKU 04) is a common 2016 release that typically sells for between $5 and $15 in new condition on the secondary market. Prices for this specific item generally fluctuate based on current demand and the condition of the packaging, but it does not command a premium price due to its widespread availability.
To authenticate a 2016 French Bulldog Pop! Pets figure, first verify that the box displays the correct SKU number 04 and the Funko logo, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or incorrect colorways. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application and sharp sculpting details, noting that genuine figures have a smooth finish without visible mold lines or excess plastic. While the absence of a holographic sticker on the box is normal for this era, significant deviations in the dog's proportions or eye clarity are strong indicators of a replica. If the figure appears off, comparing it side-by-side with verified listings from reputable secondary marketplaces can help confirm its authenticity.
The French Bulldog Pop! Pets was released in 2016 by Funko.
The French Bulldog Pop! Pets figure (SKU 04) is no longer in print and is not currently available to purchase new from Funko. As a 2016 release from the Pets line, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is limited to any remaining inventory at third-party retailers or the secondary market.
To condition-check a French Bulldog Pop! Pets figure, inspect the vinyl surface for hairline cracks, scratches, or paint transfer, paying close attention to the ears and snout where wear is most common. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of cloudiness, and check the base for any scuffs or discoloration. If the figure is in its original box, examine the packaging for shelf wear, box bowing, or damage to the window, as these factors significantly impact collectible value.
