To authenticate your 2017 Frodo Baggins Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the vinyl is solid and opaque, not translucent or glossy. Check the base for the embossed "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 444, which should be clearly visible. Compare the figure's proportions and paint application against official reference images, looking for consistent color matching and clean seams. If the vinyl feels soft, has a strong chemical smell, or the base markings are missing or faded, the item is likely a counterfeit.
