No, the Gerrit Cole Pop! MLB is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2021 as part of the regular MLB lineup, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in both new and used condition.
The value of a 2021 Gerrit Cole Pop! MLB vinyl figure (SKU 72) fluctuates based on condition, packaging, and current market demand, so a single fixed price does not exist. To determine its precise current worth, you should check recent completed sales on secondary markets like eBay, as prices for common player figures often vary significantly from retail.
To authenticate your 2021 Gerrit Cole Pop! Vinyl Figure (SKU 72), first verify that the figure is seated on a clear, square display base with the Funko logo printed on the front. Check that the vinyl is solid and opaque, the paint application is clean without significant bleeding, and the eyes are properly aligned. You can also compare the specific sculpting details and color accuracy against official Funko product images, as counterfeit figures often feature softer plastic, misaligned parts, or incorrect packaging.
