Common questions about the Ghost Face (Distressed Mask) Pop! Movies from Funko (2026).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Ghost Face (Distressed Mask) Pop! Movies is not considered rare; it is a standard production item from the Scream franchise line. As a 2026 release with SKU 1962, it is part of a regular retail run rather than a limited edition or chase variant. Its value is primarily driven by its condition and the popularity of the Scream character, not by low production numbers.
As a 2026 release, the Ghost Face (Distressed Mask) Pop! Movies figure is likely still in its introductory price range, typically retailing between $12 and $15 new. Because it is a recent release, the secondary market value generally hovers near or slightly above retail, with distressed or "chase" variants potentially commanding a premium if they are limited. Exact market value fluctuates based on condition and demand, so checking current listings on platforms like eBay or StockX is recommended for the most accurate real-time pricing.
It is difficult to definitively authenticate a 2026 release in 2024, as the item has not yet been officially released. To verify authenticity once available, check for the standard Funko quality markers: a smooth, uniform vinyl finish, a crisp "Funko" logo on the base, and a matching SKU 1962 printed on the box. If the item is currently on the market, be cautious of early listings, as counterfeiters often replicate popular upcoming releases.
The Ghost Face (Distressed Mask) Pop! Movies was released in 2026 by Funko.
I cannot confirm with certainty whether this specific 2026 release is currently in print, as 2026 is a future date relative to the current production cycle. I recommend checking Funko's official website or authorized retailers for the most up-to-date availability status for SKU 1962.
To condition-check a Ghost Face (Distressed Mask) Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, chips, or paint wear, paying close attention to the distressed mask details which are prone to chipping. Verify that the figure is seated correctly in its box with the lid fitting snugly, and check for any yellowing or fading of the vinyl. While you can perform a basic visual inspection at home, obtaining an official grade requires submitting the sealed box to a third-party grading service such as PSA or Beckett for authentication and condition scoring.
