No, the Gideon Jura Pop! Magic is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the original 2014 Magic: The Gathering line, making it one of the most common and widely available items in that series.
The value of a Gideon Jura Pop! Magic figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is sealed in its original box, and current market demand. As a 2014 release, it is no longer in production, which can influence its price relative to newer Magic: The Gathering figures. For an accurate valuation, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay, as prices fluctuate based on collector interest and rarity.
To authenticate your 2014 Gideon Jura Pop! (SKU 07), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the Magic: The Gathering branding, as this character was part of the initial 2014 Magic series. Examine the figure for consistent paint application, proper sculpting of the armor and wings, and the correct translucent yellow energy effect on his chest. The base should be solid and unmarked, and the box should include a holographic sticker and a barcode matching the SKU. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or lacks the specific packaging details, it is likely a counterfeit.

The Gideon Jura Pop! Magic figure from the 2014 release is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item is considered out of production, meaning it can only be found on the secondary market through third-party resellers.
To condition-check a Gideon Jura Pop! Magic, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the sword and shield details where damage is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in the base and that the window on the box is intact, as a damaged box significantly impacts value. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized score, most collectors rely on visual inspection of the figure and box condition for casual trading.
