Common questions about the Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from the Disney collection, meaning it is widely available and not limited in print run. Collectors generally do not classify this specific SKU as scarce or exclusive.
The Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! Disney (SKU 1052) is a standard retail collectible that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 USD when new in box. Because this figure is not a rare or limited-edition release, its secondary market value generally does not exceed its retail price, and used copies often sell for less.
To authenticate your Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! Disney (SKU 1052), verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a smooth, matte finish and that the box features the standard Funko logo and copyright information. Check for consistent paint application, particularly on the facial features and clothing details, as counterfeit versions often exhibit sloppy painting or incorrect color shades. While there is no single definitive test for every variant, significant deviations in proportions, weight, or packaging quality are strong indicators of a replica. If you remain uncertain, comparing your item side-by-side with a verified authentic example from a reputable retailer is the most reliable method.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Giulia Marcovaldo Funko Pop! with SKU 1052. It is possible that the character name is a misidentification, as SKU 1052 is typically associated with a different Disney character, and Giulia Marcovaldo is not a standard figure in the Funko Disney lineup.
The Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! Disney (SKU 1052) is currently out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. It is not available to buy new from official retail channels, meaning collectors must seek out used copies from secondary markets such as eBay or local shops.
To condition-check a Giulia Marcovaldo Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the character's hair and clothing details. Verify that the figure is securely seated within its original box and that the window is free of cracks or significant clouding. If you intend to submit the item for professional grading, ensure the box is in mint condition, as grading services typically require the figure to be in its original, unopened packaging to receive a high score.
