Common questions about the Gizmo Pop! Movie Posters from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gizmo Pop! Movie Posters figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production release by Funko in 2022. These items were widely distributed through major retail chains and online marketplaces, making them relatively easy to find in new condition.
The value of a 2022 Funko Pop! Movie Posters Gizmo (SKU 01) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically trading between $15 and $25 in the current secondary market. Because Funko Pop! Movie Posters are a niche sub-line with lower production runs than standard vinyl figures, prices can fluctuate more sharply depending on demand. For the most accurate and up-to-date valuation, checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2022 Funko Pop! Movie Posters item, first verify that the packaging is a standard sealed box with the official Funko logo and that the figure itself has the correct proportions, smooth plastic finish, and accurate paint application typical of the brand. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright mark and ensure the SKU number on the box matches the official 2022 release records. If the item is a specific "Movie Posters" edition, confirm that the included poster matches the official artwork released that year, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or incorrect fonts. If you are still uncertain, compare your item side-by-side with high-resolution images from reputable collector communities or contact Funko customer service directly with photos for verification.
The Gizmo Pop! Movie Posters was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Movie Posters are generally produced as limited-run promotional items rather than standard retail products, so the 2022 Gizmo poster is likely no longer in print. While it may occasionally appear on the secondary market, it is not typically available for purchase new from major retailers or Funko's official store.
It is important to clarify that the Gizmo Pop! Movie Posters is a printed paper product, not a vinyl figure, so standard toy grading services like PSA or Beckett do not typically grade it. To condition-check the item, you should inspect the paper for creases, tears, fading, or off-center printing, and verify that the edges are straight and free from curling. If you are looking for a professional valuation, you would need to consult a specialist in vintage or modern print media rather than a collectible figure grader.
