Common questions about the Gizmo Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gizmo Pop! Movies is not considered a rare item because it is a standard production release from the widely distributed Funko Pop! Movies line. As a 2023 release, it was manufactured in large quantities and remains readily available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
The Gizmo Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1420) is a standard retail item with a typical market value of $12 to $15 for new, unopened copies. Because it is a common release from a major franchise, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price. Values for used or opened figures are generally lower, often falling below $10 depending on condition.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Gizmo (SKU 1420), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 1420 printed on the side or back. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Pop!" branding on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry logos, uneven seams, or off-color plastics. While there is no single universal authentication certificate for standard retail Funko Pops, comparing your item directly to high-resolution images of the official 2023 release can help identify discrepancies in the eyes, mouth, or fur texture. If the packaging and figure appear consistent with known genuine examples, it is likely authentic, but significant deviations in weight, material feel, or print quality should prompt further scrutiny.
The Gizmo Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose real-time print status or specific discontinuation dates for individual figures. While the Gizmo Pop! (SKU 1420) was released in 2023, availability fluctuates based on retailer inventory, and it may be out of print or difficult to find at retail prices. To determine if it is still in production, you should check current stock levels at major retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a professional certificate of authenticity or numerical grade for this item. To condition-check the Gizmo Pop! (SKU 1420), you should inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box with the window intact. The market value for ungraded figures is determined by the overall cosmetic condition of the vinyl and the completeness of the packaging.
