Common questions about the Gizmo Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gizmo Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-production item from Funko's main catalog. It was released in 2023 and is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it is a common release, its value is generally stable and does not command a significant premium over its retail price.
The retail price for the Gizmo Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1420) is typically around $12.99. As a standard production item from 2023, its value in the secondary market generally remains near retail or slightly below, depending on whether it is sold in the box.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Gizmo (SKU 1420), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct weight and solid plastic feel typical of genuine Funko products. Check the base of the figure for a clear, molded copyright mark and ensure the paint application is consistent without excessive bleeding or air bubbles. While there is no single definitive "authenticity certificate" for standard retail Funko Pops, comparing the item side-by-side with high-resolution images of the official 2023 release can help identify discrepancies in proportions or color. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but any significant deviations in packaging or figure quality should prompt you to seek a professional appraisal.

Funko has not officially announced that the Gizmo Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1420) is out of print, so it remains technically in production. However, availability for new purchases is often inconsistent due to supply chain fluctuations, and the item may be difficult to find in stock at major retailers. You should check current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized retailers to confirm immediate availability.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and assign a numerical score based on its overall condition. Note that most grading companies require the figure to be in its original, unopened box for a sealed grade, while open figures are typically graded on the figure alone.
