No, the Gizmo Pop! Movies (SKU 1420) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2023 as part of Funko’s regular movie lineup, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores or online marketplaces.
The retail value of the 2023 Gizmo Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1420) is typically between $12.99 and $14.99. To authenticate your Gizmo Pop! Movies (SKU 1420), verify that the figure features the standard Funko Pop! logo on the base and that the packaging displays the correct SKU number and copyright information. Check the physical details for consistent paint application, proper articulation of the joints, and the absence of mold lines or rough edges that indicate a counterfeit. While there is no single definitive "secret" mark for this specific release, comparing the figure's proportions and color accuracy against high-resolution images of the official product can help identify discrepancies. If the item lacks a verifiable barcode or the packaging quality appears significantly inferior to standard Funko releases, it is advisable to treat it as unverified.
The Gizmo Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Gizmo Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1420), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. While the item may occasionally appear as a used listing on secondary markets, it is no longer produced or stocked by Funko.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, particularly on detailed areas like Gizmo's fur texture and facial features. You should also verify that the figure is properly seated in its base and that the packaging, if present, is free from creases, tears, or yellowing. While professional grading services like PSA or CGC can assign a numerical grade based on these factors, most collectors assess value through visual inspection of the figure's overall integrity and the presence of original accessories.
