The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Gleyber Torres Pop! MLB is not considered rare. As a standard production figure released in 2020, it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available on the secondary market. Collectors generally do not assign premium value to this specific SKU due to its common availability.
The Gleyber Torres Pop! MLB figure (SKU 48) is a standard production item from 2020, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains in its original sealed box. As a common, non-chase variant, it typically sells for a modest price on the secondary market, generally ranging from a few dollars to around $10 to $15 for a sealed figure. Unopened boxes usually command a slight premium over loose figures, but specific prices can fluctuate based on current local demand and shipping costs.
To authenticate your 2020 Gleyber Torres Pop! MLB, first verify that the figure is accompanied by a sealed box with a valid Funko logo and the correct SKU number 48 on the packaging. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper eye inserts, and the standard Funko "Pop!" branding on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, off-center eyes, or missing logos. While specific authentication services for individual Funko Pops are less common than for high-value trading cards, you can compare your item against high-resolution images from the official Funko website or reputable collector communities to identify any deviations in scale, texture, or color accuracy.
The Gleyber Torres Pop! MLB was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Gleyber Torres Pop! MLB vinyl figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is limited to used or third-party stock.
Funko Pop! figures do not have an official third-party grading service comparable to those used for trading cards, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint damage, scratches, and joint integrity. Check the head for any "head tilt" or misalignment, ensure the eyes are properly seated, and verify that the box is free of significant wear, creases, or water damage. For the Gleyber Torres MLB Pop! (SKU 48), pay particular attention to the uniform details and any specific accessories, as these are common points of failure.
