The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Glinda In Nightgown Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2024 release wave of the *Wicked* movie line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The retail value of the Glinda In Nightgown Pop! Movies (SKU 1699) is typically between $12 and $15, as this is the standard price point for most standard-sized Funko Pop! figures. Because this is a 2024 release, it is currently considered a common item, and its secondary market value generally remains at or near retail price unless it is sold in a sealed box.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Glinda In Nightgown (SKU 1699), first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a holographic security sticker. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a properly aligned base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, misaligned parts, or a lack of the standard "Funko" branding on the base. You can also cross-reference the packaging design and product images with Funko's official website or authorized retailer listings to ensure the item matches the 2024 release specifications.

Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Glinda In Nightgown Pop! Movies (SKU 1699), so it is likely still in print. However, availability can fluctuate significantly due to supply chain issues or retail stockouts, meaning it may be difficult to find new in local stores. I recommend checking current inventory on major retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website to confirm immediate availability.
You can assess the condition of this Funko Pop! by inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, or discoloration and checking the acrylic dome for cracks or cloudiness. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and its packaging on a 1-10 scale. Be aware that grading costs and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is not necessary for casual collection.
