No, the 2015 Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies figure (SKU 239) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released as part of the initial wave for the 2014 film, meaning it was widely available and produced in large quantities. While it is now out of print, its common status means it does not carry a significant premium in the secondary market compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of the 2015 Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies (SKU 239) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it generally trades for between $15 and $30 in sealed condition. Prices for open figures are typically lower, often ranging from $10 to $20. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2015 Godzilla 6" Pop! (SKU 239), first verify that the box is sealed with the standard Funko shrink wrap and that the plastic figure inside is free of major mold lines, paint overspray, or discoloration. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp and the specific SKU number, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or missing markings. Additionally, compare the figure's proportions and color accuracy against high-resolution images of the official 2015 release, noting that authentic Funko Pops typically have a smooth, matte finish on the vinyl. If the item appears significantly off in quality or lacks proper packaging details, it is likely a replica.

The Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies figure (SKU 239) is currently out of print and no longer available for purchase directly from Funko. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, it is not produced as a new item by the manufacturer.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seams, or chipped plastic, while also verifying that the head is properly aligned and not tilted. For the 2015 Godzilla release, specifically check the mouth area and claws for stress marks, as these are high-wear points. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must remain in its original, unopened sealed box, as grading services like PSA do not grade loose vinyl figures.
