Common questions about the Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies figure (SKU 239) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2015 and remains widely available in both new and used condition. Because it was part of a major film tie-in and produced in large quantities, it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or discontinued niche figures.
The retail value of the 2015 Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies figure (SKU 239) is typically around $12.99, though it is widely available for significantly less on the secondary market, often ranging from $3 to $8 depending on condition and seller. Because this figure is no longer in production and is considered a common item, it does not command a premium price for collectors.
To authenticate your Funko Godzilla Pop! (SKU 239), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the standard 6-inch height with the characteristic vinyl material. Check the base for a clear, molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is consistent without excessive bleeding, as poor paint jobs are a common indicator of counterfeits. While specific SKU 239 is not a widely documented high-value item that attracts frequent counterfeiting, you can confirm authenticity by comparing the figure's proportions and packaging details against verified images from Funko's official website or reputable collector communities. If the figure feels lightweight, has sharp plastic edges, or lacks the proper branding on the base, it is likely a replica.

The Godzilla 6" Pop! Movies (SKU 239) is currently out of print and is no longer available for purchase new from Funko. While it may occasionally appear in the secondary market, it is not part of the current production lineup.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seams, or misaligned eyes, as well as any signs of wear like scuffs or discoloration. Since this is a mass-produced vinyl item, it does not have a standardized third-party grading scale like trading cards, so its value is determined by its physical state and whether it is sealed in its original box. Look for specific issues like a cracked head, missing accessories, or a damaged box, as these significantly impact collectible value.
