The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gold Troll Pop! Vinyl figure is not considered rare in the collectible market. It was a standard retail release by Funko in 2020 and is widely available in both new and used condition. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, its value remains close to its original retail price.
The value of a Gold Troll Pop! figure from the 2020 release varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard mass-produced collectible, it typically trades for a modest amount, often ranging from $10 to $25, unless it is part of a complete set or has specific grading. Prices can fluctuate, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current market value.
Authenticating a Gold Troll Pop! requires examining the paint quality, as genuine gold variants typically feature a consistent metallic finish without the visible brush strokes or uneven application often found in counterfeits. You should also verify that the SKU 08 and copyright date 2020 are clearly and cleanly printed on the base, with no smudging or misalignment. While there is no unique serial number for individual units, checking the overall weight and the crispness of the plastic molding against known genuine examples is a reliable method for verification.

The Gold Troll Pop! Vinyl Figure from the 2020 Trolls line is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This specific metallic variant has been discontinued, meaning it can only be purchased through the secondary market from third-party sellers.
Condition-checking a Gold Troll Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or scuffs, as well as examining the box for shelf wear, lid fit, and any damage to the window. Because Gold variants are often limited production runs, you should also verify the specific SKU and year to ensure authenticity, noting that the gold finish is a solid color rather than a metallic coating that can peel. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and packaging's overall preservation.
