Common questions about the Golden Freddy Pop! Games from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Golden Freddy Pop! Games (SKU 119) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2016 and was widely available in retail stores and online during its release window. While older Funko Pops can see price increases over time, this specific figure remains a common collectible with no limited production numbers that would classify it as rare.
The value of a Golden Freddy Pop! Games figure (SKU 119) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sold in the original sealed box. As a common 2016 release, the unopened retail price typically ranges from $10 to $20, while the loose figure generally sells for $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate slightly depending on current market demand and the specific condition of the item.
To authenticate your Golden Freddy Pop! Games figure, first verify that the box displays the correct SKU 119 and the 2016 release year, as these details align with the official Funko production records. Examine the physical figure for high-quality paint application, consistent plastic molding, and the distinct "F" logo on the base, which are hallmarks of genuine Funko manufacturing. If the packaging appears worn, check for the presence of a holographic sticker on the box, which was standard for authentic releases during that period. If the figure lacks these specific manufacturing details or the packaging is missing entirely, it may be a replica, so consulting a Funko authentication service or comparing it against verified images of SKU 119 is recommended.

There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for cracks, paint chips, and seam lines. Check the head for any misalignment or "head tilt" and ensure the eyes are properly aligned within the sockets. Examine the base for scuffs and verify that the figure is securely attached to the stand without any gaps.
