The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Gonzo Pop! Muppets figure is not considered rare, as it was part of the standard 2012 Muppets collection and produced in typical quantities for that era. While older Funko Pops from 2012 can command higher prices in mint condition due to age, this specific character was a common release and remains relatively accessible to collectors.
The Gonzo Pop! Muppets figure (SKU 03) is a common item from the 2012 release, so its value is generally low. In new, sealed condition, it typically sells for a few dollars, while unboxed copies often trade for less than a dollar. Prices can vary slightly based on local demand, but it is not considered a rare or high-value collectible.
The Gonzo Pop! from the 2012 Muppets line is a standard mass-produced vinyl figure, so authenticity is primarily determined by checking the physical quality of the item. Look for sharp, clean edges on the vinyl, a clear and legible "Funko" logo on the base, and the correct SKU number 03 printed on the packaging if you have the box. If the figure has rough seams, off-color paint, or a blurry logo, it is likely a counterfeit, as genuine 2012 Funko Pops typically feature consistent molding and printing standards.
The Gonzo Pop! Muppets was released in 2012 by Funko.
The Gonzo Pop! Muppets figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2012 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock is likely limited to remaining inventory from third-party retailers or resellers.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To assess its condition, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, missing parts, or hairline cracks, and verify that the original box is intact with no significant damage to the window or corners. The value of the 2012 Gonzo Pop! is primarily determined by its overall cosmetic state and the condition of its packaging, so documenting these details with clear photographs is the standard practice for collectors.
