The Gopher Pop! Movies figure (SKU 724) is not considered rare in the broader Funko market, as it was part of a standard 2019 release. However, its value is heavily dependent on condition, with sealed boxes commanding a premium over loose figures. While not a limited edition, well-preserved sealed examples are sought after by collectors of the Gopher series.
The Gopher Pop! Movies (SKU 724) is a standard edition vinyl figure from Funko's 2019 release, and its value depends heavily on condition and whether it remains in the sealed box. As a common, mass-produced item, the unopened retail price typically hovers around $12 to $15, while loose figures generally sell for $5 to $8 on the secondary market. Because this is not a limited or exclusive variant, it does not carry a significant collector's premium, and its worth is primarily determined by current retail availability and demand for the specific movie character.
To authenticate your 2019 Gopher Pop! Movies figure, first verify the SKU 724 on the box and check for the official Funko logo and copyright information. Inspect the vinyl for consistent color, smooth seams, and the correct Gopher character design, ensuring the eyes and mouth match the official 2019 release. Compare your figure against high-resolution images from the official Funko website or reputable collector databases to confirm the specific movie-themed variant. If the box is missing, the presence of the correct SKU and manufacturing details on the figure's base or packaging can help confirm authenticity, though the box is the primary source for verifying the exact 2019 release.
