No, the Gorilla Grodd 6" Pop! Television (SKU 353) is not considered rare. The Gorilla Grodd 6" Pop! Television (SKU 353) is a standard production item that typically sells for between $8 and $15 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Its value is largely driven by the popularity of the DC Comics character and the specific television series it represents, rather than any rare manufacturing features. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand for the Flash or Justice League figures, but it is not considered a high-value collectible.
Authenticating a 2016 Funko Pop! requires checking for specific manufacturing details, such as the "Funko" logo on the base and the correct SKU (353) on the packaging, along with verifying that the paint application is clean and the plastic has the characteristic matte finish of that era. While there is no single definitive test for a 2016 release, you can compare your figure's proportions, color accuracy, and box print quality against high-resolution images from reputable collector databases or Funko's official archives. If the item lacks proper branding, has sloppy paint, or feels unusually light, it is likely a counterfeit, but without physical inspection, I cannot confirm the authenticity of your specific unit.
