Common questions about the Grape Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Grape Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard, mass-produced retail release by Funko in 2019. These items were widely available in major toy and grocery stores, meaning production numbers were high and they are easily found in the secondary market.
The Grape Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is a standard 3.75-inch vinyl figure from Funko’s 2019 Candy line, and its value is typically determined by whether it is new in box or loose. In retail condition, these figures generally sell for between $10 and $20, while loose copies often trade for $5 to $10 depending on local demand. Because this is a common mass-produced item from a popular collaboration, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market.
Funko did not produce a "Grape Sour Patch Kid" Pop! Vinyl figure in 2019, as the company does not manufacture edible candy or food items. The item you are describing is likely a counterfeit, a mislabeled product, or a confusion with a standard Sour Patch Kids candy package that has been incorrectly attributed to the Funko brand. To authenticate the item, you should verify that it is not a vinyl figure, as Funko's catalog consists exclusively of collectible vinyl toys, and check the packaging for standard Sour Patch Kids branding from the manufacturer, Jelly Belly, rather than Funko logos.
The Grape Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Candy items from the 2019 era, including the Grape Sour Patch Kid, are no longer in print. These specific collectibles have been discontinued by the manufacturer and are no longer available for purchase as new items from official Funko retailers.
It is not possible to grade this item because it is a consumable food product, not a collectible toy. Standard grading services like PSA or Beckett do not accept candy for authentication or condition assessment. You should inspect the packaging for integrity and check the expiration date to determine if the item is still safe for consumption.
