Common questions about the Green Lantern Pop! Comic Covers from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Green Lantern Pop! Comic Covers figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s 2022 release line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available. Collectors typically find this figure in regular retail stores or through secondary markets at standard market prices.
The value of a Green Lantern Pop! Comic Covers figure (SKU 06) depends heavily on its condition and whether it is in the original sealed box. As a standard 2022 release, the retail price for a new, in-box figure typically ranges from $10 to $15, while used figures generally sell for less. Because this is not a limited edition or highly sought-after variant, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and prices often fluctuate based on current local stock availability.
To authenticate a 2022 Funko Pop! Green Lantern Comic Cover, inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, the specific SKU number 06, and a holographic security sticker on the box. The figure itself should feature the distinctive vinyl material, a smooth finish, and the unique base design characteristic of the Comic Covers series. If the box lacks these security features or the figure has visible mold seams and paint defects, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Green Lantern Pop! Comic Covers was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Green Lantern Pop! Comic Covers series, so these figures are no longer in print or available for purchase new from the manufacturer. While they may occasionally appear on the secondary market, they are considered out of production items.
To grade a Funko Pop! Comic Cover, you should submit the item to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will evaluate the figure and its packaging on a standardized scale. For a basic condition check, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and ensure the box is free of significant dents, creases, or tape residue, as these factors significantly impact resale value. Note that unlike traditional comic books, Funko Pops are generally not graded by comic-specific services, so you must use services that explicitly accept vinyl collectibles.
