Common questions about the Green Lantern Pop! Heroes from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Green Lantern Pop! Heroes (SKU 317) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2020 as part of their regular line, meaning it was widely available and not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a Green Lantern Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 317) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard, non-exclusive vinyl figure, its market value is generally modest, typically ranging from $5 to $15 for a loose figure in good condition. Sealed boxes may command a slightly higher price, but this specific character is not considered a rare or high-demand item in the secondary market.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Green Lantern (SKU 317), first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a holographic security sticker. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the specific sculpting details characteristic of the 2020 release. Be aware that counterfeiters often replicate the box art but may use lower-quality plastic, off-center eyes, or misspelled text on the packaging. If the item lacks these standard manufacturing markers, it is likely a reproduction.
The Green Lantern Pop! Heroes was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Green Lantern Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 317), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is sporadic and prices often exceed the original retail value.
Grading a Funko Pop! figure is a subjective process that involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, as well as checking the box for creases, dents, and label condition. Most collectors and grading services evaluate the figure on a scale from 10 (perfect) to 1 (heavily damaged), with the box condition often carrying equal weight to the figure itself for sealed items. If you are seeking a professional grade, you can submit the item to third-party grading companies, but be aware that the cost of grading and shipping often exceeds the market value of a standard 2020 release.
