The value of the Grindelwald & Thestral Pop! (SKU 30) varies significantly based on condition and market demand, but unopened figures typically retail between $15 and $25. Because this is a standard release from 2019 rather than a limited edition, it does not command a premium price, and opened figures are generally worth less than the retail price. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct 2019 release date and SKU 30 printed on the back. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the distinct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, misaligned eyes, or cheap plastic. If the box is damaged or missing, you can compare the figure's specific details, such as the Thestral's wing shape and Grindelwald's robe folds, against high-resolution images from official Funko sources or reputable collector communities.

The Grindelwald & Thestral Pop! (SKU 30) from the Fantastic Beasts collection is no longer in print. Grading a Funko Pop! figure involves assessing the condition of the vinyl body, paint application, and the specific articulation of the Thestral’s wings and tail. Key inspection points include checking for seam lines, paint scratches, and any discoloration on the dark fabric elements of the costume. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a third-party service like PSA, which will evaluate it on a 10-point scale based on these cosmetic factors.
