Common questions about the Grookey Pop! Games from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Grookey Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2024 as part of the regular Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu line. These figures are widely available through major retailers and are not limited edition exclusives.
The Grookey Pop! Games figure (SKU 957) is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of $12.99 when new in box. Because it is a common, mass-produced release from 2024, it does not command a significant premium in the secondary market, and used copies generally sell for less than the retail price.
Funko Pop! Games figures, including the 2024 Grookey release, are generally not subject to the same rigorous authentication processes as vintage trading cards, and Funko does not offer a public verification service for individual units. To assess authenticity, compare the item's packaging, logo placement, and figure paint quality against high-resolution images of the official SKU 957 listing on Funko's website. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is presumed genuine, but any significant deviations in box condition or figure details should prompt you to seek a professional appraisal.
The Grookey Pop! Games was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Grookey Pop! Games figure, so it remains in print and available for purchase through major retailers and Funko's own website. As a standard release from the 2024 line, it is widely stocked and does not carry the same scarcity as limited-edition or retired items.
To grade a Grookey Pop! Games figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the item's condition and assign a numerical score from 1 to 10. For a basic condition check, inspect the vinyl for any manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, scratches, or molding seams, and verify that the figure is securely seated in its original packaging. Since this is a 2024 release, the item is likely still in mint condition if it has remained sealed, so checking the integrity of the box and window is the most practical first step.
